The origin pages above were taken from the reprint of them in THOR #158. The splash page and the lettering on the final panel of the last page had to be recreated, and it wasn't done too well. I'm glad to say that the recent Omnibus and softcover Masterwork editions feature reprints from a superior source.
ReplyDeleteMarvel's art/photostat/film negative archiving was always hit-or-miss, so lots of Silver Age material had to be re-created thru various methods, some of which were more effective than others.
